CHARITY-WORKER TRAINING FOR THE NEBOSH NATIONAL GENERAL CERTIFICATE – NATIONAL SPONSORSHIP SCHEME
The Charities Safety Group (CSG), in partnership with NEBOSH, has agreed a scheme that gives scholarships to Charities and Voluntary Sector Organisations for places on the NEBOSH Certificate Course.
Woodward is pleased top announce that it has become one of the providers on this scheme.
The aim of this project is to help small charities and voluntary organisations, who have very limited resources, to acquire the health, safety and welfare competencies their volunteers need to operate safely.
As part of the scholarship, NEBOSH agrees to waive the candidates examination and registration fees, and the course provider agrees to waive all tuition and examination fees.
We recently accepted our first scholarship student, Ruth Hankins from Carr-Gomm (supported housing) onto our October NEBOSH General Certificate Course [12day model].
We wish her the best of luck and hope to be reporting on her exam success in the near future.
Further information about this scholarship scheme can be found here. |
