Woodward Group, based in Carlisle, Cumbria, consists of two training companies.
Woodward Safety, Health and Environment Ltd. delivers health and safety training, fire safety, construction safety and also environmental management training. Consultancy and auditing are also undertaken.
Woodward Ltd. delivers training in general management, administrative management, financial management and employment law.
The results in all our courses are excellent, particularly the difficult NEBOSH courses where our pass rates are very high. This reputation and quality has resulted in many delegates completing three or four courses with us. For many, their whole health and safety career starting with IOSH Managing Safely has been completed with a successful NEBOSH National Diploma.
Woodward Group has been delivering training for the past 18 years and has grown into one of the largest NEBOSH and IOSH centres in the UK. Woodward Group also has about 16 years experience and expertise in training armed forces personnel. We do very little advertising, and have been referred to as one of Cumbria’s most successful best kept secrets. The majority of our delegates either find out about us through a referral or are with us for a 2nd, 3rd or in some cases 4th training course.
The main reason for this continued growth is our attention to customers - we realise that they are very important people, and central to our success as a business. We do however make delegates work hard on our courses, hence the high pass rates. But we also look after you whilst you are with us.
The lunchtime food provided by our in-house chef on our courses attracts very favourable comments and we have even been offered contracts to supply elsewhere! To find out more click here.

Our Staff
The training team are all qualified to the highest professional standards both in their technical knowledge and their tutoring skills. They are all full time employees of the company who have vast experience in the commercial world. They are all either Chartered Members of IOSH, or are working towards achieving Chartership.
Our Alumni
